The Gospel

Read I Corinthians 15:3-4

The Gospel is the good news that the Son of God came to live among us clothed in flesh and blood.  He was both God and man.  His name is Jesus.  

He lived a sinless life among us and died willingly as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.  Jesus took the punishment for our sins.  He took the punishment for our sins that should have been given to us (Death).  

After three days God raised him again and Jesus was seen by many witnesses as recorded in the NEW TESTAMENT.

More Good News - God's power can raise you and me also to eternal life with Christ if we are "IN CHRIST".  

The time when we get into Christ is at the time of our belief (including confessing Christ as Lord, repenting of our sins, the turning away form our sins) and are baptized in water.
