Alexander Bannister was married yesterday to Zeta (Smith) in Cookeville, TN. They will be on their honeymoon until Alexander leaves for boot camp in the Air Force December 17th. Please keep them both in your prayers.

14th Annual Turkey Bowl

Our annual turkey bowl will be Thursday, November 28th at 9:00 am at the soccer fields at  Calhoun Street Park in Fort Mill. Old –vs– Young, see Eric Bitting Or Marty Rosener with questions.

Save The Date Holiday Dinner

We will have our congregational holiday dinner, Sunday following morning services December 8. Ham & turkey will be provided, you are asked to bring your favorite side dishes, desserts and drinks to share. We are seeking help to decorate the tables and fellowship hall Saturday, December 7th. A Month of Prayer ( December 2019)

In December 2019, the last month we work and worship together as one congregation of the Lord’s church, we will pray for both the church of Christ at Gold Hill Road and the new work of the church of Christ in Indian Land. As two congregations continue the Lord’s work in two communities, we will cherish our fellowship in the gospel and our unity in Jesus Christ. A

Girls Middle/ High School Bible Study

There will be a Middle / High School Girls Bible Study will be here at the building on Sundays, at 5pm. Thankfulness; 11.24; Friendsgiving potluck & devo. Please come join us, any questions, see Haley Cox.

L2L Providers:

Matt Ibbetson will be teaching the basic family finances class on Sunday, December 1st from 4:00– 5:00 pm here at the building.




* Frances Wade suffered a fall due to vertigo.

* Ernie Girard has been diagnosed with  prostate cancer.

* Rod Greene had some outpatient surgery this past week.

* Continue to pray for those who have had recent procedures. We are thankful that many are doing well in their recovery.

* Royce Knox is healing from an infection in his foot.

* Harold Weston is having difficulty with one of his hips and is affecting his ability to walk. Please pray also for Sharon as she cares for him.

* Continue to pray for both Dave & Cris Newell.

* Chloe Walker’s mother may be released this weekend, although she may need to have oxygen.

* The mothers’ of Barb Arbaugh, Rodney Grant, April Greene, Kelly Janes, Shontrell Overton,  Jim Passmore, Len Patterson, Mark Walker, and Margaret Wallace are all dealing with various health issues.

* The fathers’ of  Dave Beels, Jerry Brooks, Greg Gross, and Derrick Williamson are dealing with various health issues.

* Robert Hatfield’s grandmother, Rebecca Hart had a pacemaker placed this past Thursday.

* Shirley Jeffers brother, Jerry Hutton suffered a heart attack and was to have bypass surgery. Also, her sister Pat Hoisington fell and suffered a fracture in her leg.

* Walt & Marge Hamilton’s daughter, Dana Jordan tore her ACL and is in a great deal of pain.

* PJ Inness’ sister-in –law, Kathy Stevens has completed her treatments and is waiting for MRI results.

* Gil Lawrence’s neighbor, Barbara Robertson fell and has been in a coma since.

* Charles Taylor’s co-worker, Helene Ward’s cancer has spread to her bones.

* Mark & PJ Inness’ neighbor  update* Linden’ Stillwell is in a great deal of pain and doctors are not hopeful about her situation. Please pray for relief rom pain for her and comfort for her family.

* Remember our shut-ins: Gloria Girard, Ruby Lett, and Lois Viera.
