New Horizons Senior Bible Study

The New Horizons Bible Study is here at the building Wednesday’s at 12:00 pm. Anyone is welcome to attend. They are sharing Holy Land videos by Ray Vanderlaan. The video lessons will show how the civilizations of the past relate to us today and how we live and both serve, and not serve God. See Keith Franklin with questions.

Spring Fling Planning Meeting Today

Planning meeting for volunteers TODAY at 5pm at the building. Please attend if you are available.

Spring Fling

The spring fling is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 from 3:30 to 6:30 at the building. The event is designed for kids 12 and under, and all family members are welcome. The youth group from Indian land is also invited.  Activities will include an Easter egg hunt, face painting, a bouncy house, and more. Dinner will be provided at the building around 5:30. Spring Quarter Ladies Bible Class

Attention Ladies! There is a spring quarter class being organized just for you. Please sign up on the  bulletin board by TODAY!  You must sign up in order to receive a book! The study will be on the book of Mark, using a study book called “Proclaimed, Jesus the Messiah; A study of Mark” by Lacy Crowell.

The Light Network (TLN)

TLN is an organized group of podcasts designed to encourage your soul, enlighten your mind, and empower your faith. As a family of podcasts, the network is home to around twenty podcasts that are hosted by faithful brothers and sisters from across the southeast United States. Each podcast is focused on its specific niche, and the different shows span various topics: financial stewardship, biblical manliness, preaching and ministry, archaeology, mental health, religious book reviews, being a godly wife, preparing to worship, seeing the glory of God in every book of the Bible, and sharing the heart of Jesus with the world. Baby Shower

Please come to share the joy with Sandy Ibbetson at her baby shower on Sunday, March 15th at 4:30 pm at the church building. Sandy wishes to donate all the shower gifts to Palmetto Women’s Center in Rock Hill, which is a Christian based organization that helps women with their pregnancy needs, biblical counseling, etc. The center will gladly take any new gifts, but their biggest need is for newborn diapers, nasal aspirators, baby finger nail clips, baby lotion, and baby thermometers (these items are used in layettes for their clients once they carry to term and deliver their babies).

If you would like to bring any gift to be donated, please keep in mind that it must be new and unwrapped. Contact Sophie Ibbetson with questions: 623-229-7168.

Prayers For Haiti

Fonrose Teogene (one of our Haitian contacts and brother), requests prayers for the safety of Haitians due to the severe unrest there. Kidnapping has become a true threat for all those there. He asks us to pray also for the safety of the Church members and leaders and their families.

* Ernie Girard’s surgery was successful and he is doing well.

* Joe Manning was released from the hospital this past Monday evening and is doing well.

* Continue to remember Betty Baker.

* Chuck Magee received good news that his latest scans show no cancer.

* Continue to pray for Harold Weston and for Sharon as she cares for him.

* Continue to pray for both Dave & Cris Newell.

* The mothers’ of Barb Arbaugh, Rodney Grant, PJ Inness, Jim Passmore, Len Patterson, and Margaret Wallace are dealing with various health issues.

* The fathers’ of  Jerry Brooks, Greg Gross, and Derrick Williamson are dealing with various health issues.

* John Wade’s brother-in-law, Bill Hyslop has a malignant tumor on his kidney and a mass in his lung. Tests are being run to evaluate treatment.

* Barbara VonHelms cousin’s husband; Glen Masters has an inoperable brain tumor. The family requests our prayers.

* Charles Taylor’s co-worker, Helene Ward’s cancer has spread to her bones. Additionally, his co-worker Richard Ayers has been diagnosed with brain cancer.

* Remember our shut-ins: Ed Berlin, Gloria Girard, Ruby Lett, and Lois Viera.

* Former member Tim Bannister had successful neck surgery and is now home.
